    Sauerkraut is a traditional dish that is popular in many countries. It is made from finely chopped cabbage that has been fermented with lactic acid bacteria. During this walk, we will go in search of different types of cabbage.

    A light festival is an event often held during the winter months, in which public spaces, buildings, and streets are illuminated with colorful light installations and projections. During this night walk, we will pass by the various installations.

    You want to return to the coast. Get some fresh air, build sandcastles, go beachcombing, or enjoy a nice walk and stroll through the dunes. The Dutch coast is definitely a place to get some fresh air and go for a walk. What's more, the national parks are practically strung together. The newest (it has yet to be recognized) is Hollandse Duinen National Park, which ranks high on our list of the ten most beautiful coastal walking routes in the Netherlands.

    Pea soup, also known as snert, is a hearty soup traditionally eaten in the Netherlands during the winter months. It is made from dried peas, vegetables, meat, and herbs, and is a filling and warming meal. We will pass several snert stands during the walk.
