    Sauerkraut is a traditional dish popular in many countries. It is made from finely chopped cabbage that has been fermented with lactic acid bacteria. During this walk, we will explore the different cabbages.

    Always wanted to sail on a historic botter? Then step aboard for one of the boarding trips on Wednesday or Thursday evening and Saturday afternoon. We moor nearby for a walk through the dunes.

    A light festival is an event often held during the winter months where public spaces, buildings and streets are illuminated with colorful light installations and projections. During this night walk, we will walk past the various installations.

    Walking through grass can be a pleasant experience and offers several benefits. Walking on grass feels different than walking on a paved surface, it can be softer and more comfortable for the feet and joints, making it less stressful for the body.

    You want to get back to the coast. Getting a breath of fresh air, building sandcastles, beachcombing or taking a nice walk and wandering through the dunes. The coast of the Netherlands is a fanning and walking area with a dot. What's more, the national parks just about string themselves together. The youngest (it has yet to be recognized) is National Park Hollandse Duinen, high on our list of the ten most beautiful coastal hiking trails in the Netherlands.

    Erwtensoep, also known as snert, is a hearty soup traditionally eaten in the Netherlands during the winter months. It is made from dried peas, vegetables, meat and spices and is a filling and warming meal. We pass several snert stands during the walk.
