Helping out at a polling station

We are looking for enthusiastic people who would like to help out at a polling station. This is an important task, as you will be contributing to the smooth running of the elections.

There are various ways to help out at a polling station:

  • As a polling station official, you will verify the identity of voters, distribute ballots, and generally ensure that everything runs smoothly at the polling station. If you are also assigned to work in the evening, you will help count the votes at the end of the day.
  • You can also choose to only help with counting in the evenings.
  • As chair of the polling station, you oversee the proceedings and are present throughout the day and evening, including during the counting of votes.

You can find more information under the button ‘Register as a volunteer at a polling station’.
