You want to get back to the coast. Getting a breath of fresh air, building sandcastles, beachcombing or taking a nice walk and wandering through the dunes. The coast of the Netherlands is a fanning and walking area with a dot. What's more, the national parks just about string themselves together. The youngest (it has yet to be recognized) is National Park Hollandse Duinen, high on our list of the ten most beautiful coastal hiking trails in the Netherlands.

Be sure to bring warm clothes because it can cool down quickly along the sea. In warm weather, you can bring your swimwear because the sea is nearby!
