The cookie law is a government regulation concerning the placement of cookies by websites. The cookie legislation stipulates that visitors must be clearly and fully informed about which cookies are placed and their purpose by means of a cookie notification.

Why do cookies exist?

Cookies are there to make visiting websites more user-friendly. A cookie allows your shopping cart to remember its contents or means you don't have to re-enter your password every time.
