Birth, marriage and death

Birth is the moment when a child is born and the beginning of his/her life as an individual. Marriage is a legal and social union between two people who have decided to live together and start a family. Death is the moment when a person dies and the end of his/her life. These events are important moments in a person's life and are often celebrated or commemorated with family and friends.

  • Choosing a child's last name

  • Birth declaration

    Have you had a child? Congratulations!!! Please notify the municipality within 3 days of the birth.

  • Burial or cremation

    You need permission from the municipality to bury or cremate a loved one. Your funeral director usually arranges this.

  • Death, declaration

    Someone has died. This must be reported to the municipality. Usually your funeral director does this.
