Self-employed entrepreneur

Do you live in Houten, IJsselstein, Nieuwegein or Lopik? And do you have your own business? Then you can contact the Bureau Zelfstandigen of the municipality of Utrecht for financial assistance and debt relief. WIL only offers debt assistance to individuals who are not self-employed.

At Bureau Zelfstandigen of the municipality of Utrecht you can get information about or apply for

  • Self-employment assistance (Bbz).
  • Income Support for Older and Partially Disabled Self-Employed Persons (IOAZ).
  • Debt relief for the self-employed.

Important

Do not deregister your company from the Chamber of Commerce before you know where you stand. To do so, wait for your interview with the Self-Employed Agency. If you deregister too early, you may no longer be eligible for some schemes.

Financial assistance to entrepreneurs during corona

The Temporary Bridging Arrangement for Independent Contractors (Tozo) scheme is ending. Do you not have enough money to live on? Then apply for a BBZ benefit at Bureau Zelfstandigen of the municipality of Utrecht. BBZ benefit is a social minimum, for a single person this is € 1,024.76 excluding 5% vacation allowance and for a family this is € 1,463.95 excluding 5% vacation allowance.
