Practical information

Physical limitations of older walkers can be taken into account, such as paths suitable for wheelchairs or canes.

Another interpretation of "old socks hike" could be that participants wear old socks while hiking. For example, this could be a playful way to draw attention to a charity or celebrate a special occasion. In that case, the walking tour would not necessarily be aimed at the elderly, but at anyone interested in walking and wearing old socks.
