Excerpt from BRP

What is it?

The Personal Records Database (BRP) contains information about everyone who lives or has lived in the Netherlands.

The extract will in any case contain your:

  • name
  • address
  • place of residence
  • date of birth

What should I do?

You can request an extract of personal data from the BRP for:

  • yourself
  • your child who lives with you and is younger than 16 years of age
  • for someone else, if this person has authorized you to do so

You can request your extract from the BRP from your local municipality. There are several ways to do this.

How long will it take?
