Saturday, March 19, 2022, is National Cleanup Day. On this day, the whole of the Netherlands will be doing a big spring clean of streets, squares, and neighborhoods. Everyone will be able to enjoy a beautiful, clean street as spring arrives. Will you be joining in too?
Mooi Schoon, ROVA's litter program, campaigns every spring, together with eighteen municipalities, for National Cleanup Day and the spring cleaning of streets and neighborhoods. This is because people start spending more time outdoors in the spring and children start playing in the streets again. We prefer to do this in a clean neighborhood where nature has room to flourish. That is why we are calling on families and active local residents to take action and clean their streets (while observing the applicable coronavirus measures).
