state pension age
When you reach retirement age, your benefits (social assistance/IOAW) will stop and you will receive a state pension (AOW). You will receive a letter from us about this.
No full state pension
Did you not live in the Netherlands continuously between the age of 15 and retirement age? If so, you will not receive the full AOW benefit. You can apply to the SVB for a supplement to your AOW.
Please note: you will not receive the supplement automatically; you must apply for it yourself.
