Garbage search

What is it?

If you have a business that reuses (recycles) garbage, you can apply for a permit from the municipality to search garbage. This permit allows you to search through bulky waste that people have put on the side of the street for collection. For example, scrap iron, furniture, wood, washing machines and refrigerators.

Note: You cannot get a permit to search through garbage bags and containers.
